I began working professionally in 1995, photographing clients from coast to coast with a unique form of artistic imaging. I opened my portrait studio in 1999 specializing in high school seniors and editorial portraits. The studio now draws seniors from as far as MA to NY for a distinctly free spirited and personal style.

I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, NIEPP Alumni and had served for several years on the Board of Directors of Connecticut Professional Photographers Association. In 2002, he was named Connecticut Portrait Photographer of the Year.

I had served as a lead educator and photographer with SPA (senior portrait artists) and Seniors Ignite from 2007-2014, sharing my knowledge and experience with professional photographers across America.  I continue to privately mentor up and coming artists as well.

I also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Naugatuck Valley Community College with the Kids On Campus program worked with WUPN network's America's Next Top Model reality show in seasons one and two.

I began volunteering my time and talent to the Cheshire High School yearbook in 2003 and have since become a huge supporter of the CHS community. As a member of the School / Business Partnership, I am a regular speaker at career days and performance advisory panels sponsored by the Board of Education. Over the last 14 years, I have mentored over 50 students entering careers in photography and graphic design, and consider mine to be a teaching studio.

The production of the Cheshire High yearbook is a massive, annual undertaking. The students who work on the book are a special breed. Producing a yearbook of this size is no different than running a small publishing company. There are Editors and staffers. The kids are using skills in management, sales, marketing, graphic design, layout, photography and art, data processing, statistics and even legal issues.

I help the staff with providing varsity sports and teams photos along with theater, clubs and special events etc. Whatever they ask me to cover for them. I obviously also provide professional senior portraits for those seniors who wish for yearbook photo to be above and beyond the school ID photos they have endured since kindergarten. The submission deadline for senior yearbook photos is typically the second week of October. For those seniors who would simply like a professional yearbook head shot, I set up a studio in the auditorium for a couple days at the end of September and will submit their choice of a fully retouched portrait for a nominal $30. Dates for these will be announce at the beginning of the school year once the calendar of events is set.
