Photographer Joey Jones began working professionally in 1995, photographing clients from coast to coast with his unique form of artistic imaging. He opened his portrait studio in 1999 specializing in high school seniors and editorial portraits. The studio now draws seniors from as far as MA to NY for a distinctly free spirited and personal style.
Joe is a member of Professional Photographers of America, NIEPP Alumni and had served for several years on the Board of Directors of Connecticut Professional Photographers Association. In 2002, he was named Connecticut Portrait Photographer of the Year.
Joe served as a lead educator and photographer with SPA and Seniors Ignite from 2007-2014. He shares his knowledge and love for his craft with photographers across America, and mentors up and coming artists.
Joe had also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Naugatuck Valley Community College with the Kids On Campus program and has also worked with WUPN network's America's Next Top Model reality show in seasons one and two.
He began volunteering his time and talent to the Cheshire High School yearbook in 2003 and since then Joe has become a popular and prevalent figure in the CHS community. As a member of the School / Business Partnership, he is a regular speaker at career days and performance advisory panels sponsored by the Board of Education. Over the last 10 years, he has mentored over 30 students entering careers in photography and graphic design, and considers his to be a teaching studio.
